So I’ve decided that the Jimbo (1993 GMC Jimmy) just isn’t going to cut it for me anymore, it gets about 12 miles to the gallon, if I’m lucky, it takes me about $60 to fill up the tank, and thats gone in just two or three days… Everything has been going wrong with it, and it’s just not worth it for me to keep putting money into it, I just want a new car, one that’s more “me…” And it just so happens that the car I’ve always wanted is a white Scion xB (the old boxy model) and I just searched for some cars around my house and there she was…
$12,000 even, but totally worth it. It’s in Royal Oak, and I’m going to look at it either Tuesday or Wednesday, hopefully Tuesday, and then start the loan process Wednesday, and she’ll be mine in like two weeks?

How many mpg does she get? My husband is on the verge of getting a motorcycle since his POC Hyundai has been giving him fits, plus the gas mileage factor. Frankly, they scare me, and I’m stuck with a soccermom-mobile with 5 kids to chauffeur around daily…but I don’t blame him.

i doubt it gets that many miles per gallon. one of my good friends had one and has pretty terrible gas mileage. plus my honda civic gets about 40mpg so a scion cant get anything near that
